With Microsoft's InstaLoad, You Could Install Batteries Blindfolded
Figuring out which way to insert batteries into a device is one of those small tasks that often turns into a big hassle. But Microsoft's new InstaLoad technology should make battery orientation a distant memory. According to Geekosystem, the battery container, which could be installed in any device, lets you replace batteries without worrying about which end is positive or negative. Falling under the "Why didn't somebody think of this before?" category, Microsoft simply equips InstaLoad with a positive and negative charge at both ends of the battery housing. As you can see from the diagram at the right, InstaLoad allows every possible way to install two batteries.InstaLoad works with AA, AAA, C and D batteries. Duracell is on board with the technology, and we hope manufacturers (from toy to lighting companies) start to get on board. There's nothing we love more than a technology that allows us to be even lazier. [From: Geekosystem and Microsoft]
