Quirky's New 'Pivot Power' Strip Solves Life's Greatest Riddle

If there's one thing that should've been created a long, long time ago, it's Quirky's new Pivot Power power-strip. One power-strip probably won't drastically change your existence, but this might at least eradicate one of life's great annoyances.

Sure, your power-strip might claim to support six devices at once, but when was the last time you actually succeeded in filling out the entire thing? Given the various sizes and shapes of the plugs you're sticking in there, chances are you've spent many an evening unsuccessfully shuffling them around like a Rubik's Cube, only to throw up your hands in disgust with modernity. The Pivot Power, though, allows you to twist and bend the entire strip until you find a configuration that supports your myriad tech toys. If Gumby made a power-strip, it would look like this.

The strip is currently on pre-sale for $23 to $25, with a major portion of revenue going to Quirky's designers and so-called "influencers." If you want to sign up, though, you'd best hurry. There are only 960 pre-orders available. And there are tons of gadgets waiting to be juiced. [From: Wired]
