Put a Ring on It With Tiffany App for iPhone 4

Ridiculously long lines of surly shoppers greeted the iPhone 4's official arrival last week. For those smelly campers who returned home to dismayed and agitated significant others (as long as it wasn't empty handed), a brand new app may help inspire the jilted lovers to forget their temporarily subordinate status to a gadget.

Tiffany and Co. now offers the 'Ring Finder' app, which guides smitten iPhone owners to the "perfect engagement ring." First, users select their desired metal, diamond, setting and design. Then, the app determines a price, and provides the number of a nearby Tiffany's salesperson. The next step lies in determining a unique and perfect proposal, which is growing increasingly difficult for geeks. While porn purveyors, hackers and phony celebrities are already jumping on the iPhone 4 bandwagon, a wedding proposal hasn't yet been publicized. Given the prevalence of other iPhone question-poppers, though, if someone wants to be the first with the 4, they'd better get busy asking. [From: Dvice]
