'The Social Network' Teaser Trailer Out, Facebook Fans Find a New Thing to 'Like'

Last week, we got a look at the creepily cryptic poster for David Fincher's much-anticipated Facebook film, 'The Social Network.' The mug-shot-meets-iPad design may be unsettling, but it's also strangely intriguing. Surely, a brand new trailer would give us a glimpse of all the juicy mudslinging and backstabbing beneath Jesse Eisenberg/Mark Zuckerberg's icy cold stare, right? Sort of.

The teaser's noticeably light on visuals, but the featured snippets of dialogue give us a general idea of the film's story arc: "punk" kid steals comes up with great idea, becomes filthy rich, and alienates everyone around him. Sounds pretty much like everything we've expected, but a heaping teaspoon of haunted house music can always make even the pettiest of nerd dramas sound like Watergate. Toss in a pinch of Timberlake, let it simmer till March 2011, and watch your hype soufflé grow. [From: Geekosystem]
