USB Gadget Scratches Itches for You, Drills New Depths in Laziness
We've always thought that technology exists, in some sense, to scratch those hard-to-reach itches that are common to all lazy human beings. But we never thought the human race would devolve to the point where we'd need to develop complex technology to scratch real itches for us. Apparently, dear readers, we have. A new gadget, called the 'UBS Itching Removal Instrument,' uses electronic and optical spectrum technology to allegedly eliminate those pesky insect bites we're all destined to endure this summer. As Ubergizmo reports, it's still unclear how this device actually removes itches, although its creators claim that whatever it does is totally chemical free, and poses no threats of contamination or adverse reactions. And, in case you find yourself attacked by mosquitos while away from your USB port, you can power the instrument with four AAA batteries. So if you wanna spend $15 to give the Itch Remover a try, go right ahead. Just know that even if it works, you'll still probably have 99 problems -- but an itch, at least, won't be one.
