How to Watch the U.S. Open Golf Tournament Online

U.S. Open Online
America's championship golf tournament, the U.S. Open, begins this afternoon at the legendary Pebble Beach course. If you can't stay home and watch it on TV, according to Business Insider, there are a couple live streaming options on the Web that will ensure you don't miss a swing. The Official U.S. Open website is the most comprehensive option. The site's cameras will follow "Marquee" groups as they play 18-holes on both Thursday and Friday, meaning you'll be seeing plenty of golfers like Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.

Golf has been surprisingly innovative with 3-D coverage and creating excellent online experiences for viewing tournaments live, so it's no surprise to see live video with integrated leaderboards, video recaps from every hole and an archive of past highlights, photos and video. Pony up some cash ($13 subscription fee) and Watch Live Golf will let you watch the tournament's Thursday and Friday rounds in their entirety. With the World Cup heating up, we don't have much interest in golf right now, and we're certainly not paying to watch it. Unless there's promise of another Tiger meltdown, we'll just catch the highlights on Sports Center. [From: Business Insider]
