Valve Unveils 'Portal 2' Official Trailer, Sets Vague 2011 Release

'Portal 2,' the followup to the ridiculously inventive 2007 game, was finally unveiled in a trailer yesterday at E3. Valve's Gabe Newell officially announced that the game would be released sometime in 2011 on PlayStation 3 (the "best version"), PC, Mac and Xbox 360. The blue and orange portals are back, and the trailer finds the player blasting through overgrown jungle seemingly far from the original's test facility. Details are still slim, but the promise of multi-player co-op modes, mixed with the possibilities offered by far more warp portals than the original's two, makes this one of 2011's most anticipated games.
