Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg Whines About His New iPhone, Sticks With It Anyway

In a post made on his Facebook page yesterday (now removed), Zuckerberg complained that, just one week after making the switch, he'd already been forced to buy four different chargers to juice his new iPhone on the go, and to install a land line to "actually make phone calls." Why would he stick with the device, then? Gawker speculates that if Zuck's gone to the trouble to buy four chargers, he's got to like something about the iPhone. In a follow-up comment on his status, though, the CEO explains that he made the switch because using his BlackBerry all the time resulted in sore thumbs, and added that he's still considering switching to Android.
Though Zuck suggests he's willing to give the more power-economizing iPhone 4 a try, VentureBeat reports that, according to sources, he's already using the next generation phone. If Zuckerberg is indeed using the iPhone 4, we probably shouldn't take his opinion as a clear indicator of the device's battery life. He clearly uses his smartphones way more than the average Joe, as evidenced earlier this month, when he was reprimanded by a stewardess for playing around on his iPhone too much during a flight.
If you use any gadget compulsively, and if you're always on the go, chances are you'll run out of battery at some point. And criticizing AT&T's 3G reliability isn't what we'd call a unique observation. Besides, as VentureBeat points out, Apple's done a lot for Facebook, having given the company some face time during Steve Jobs's iPad keynote presentation, and even including the social network directly in its ad campaigns. The man's free to say whatever he wants, but we'd expect a Silicon Valley heavyweight to give us insightful criticism -- not empty whimpers. [From: Gawker and VentureBeat]

My guess his battery is dying due to the crappy Facebook iPhone app.
Seriously. Fix that.
