Stoned Arizona Kids Take to Craigslist to Trade iPad for Weed

Most iPad owners probably wouldn't trade their beloved gadget for much of anything -- unless, of course, they're stoned enough to take the kind of deal two burnouts in Arizona offered last week.
As AZFamily reports, Jacob Walker and Joseph Velarde recently came up with the brilliant idea of offering a third generation iPod touch and a .25 ounce of fluffy marijuana in exchange for an iPad. As much as this sounds like the start of a Russel Brand movie, the vendors made one epically crucial mistake. They posted their ad on Craigslist, replete with photos of their iPod and their "blue dream" contraband. Someone eventually notified the police, who sent an undercover agent to meet with Walker. When Walker pulled out the 'Pod and the pot, he was quickly arrested, charged and photographed while wearing a winning grin (video after the jump).
This may not be the most illegal offer we've seen on Craigslist, but it's definitely one of the more blatant ones. It's a good idea to post photos when you're subletting your apartment or selling a pair of concert tickets. But when it comes to peddling drugs, you're probably better off spending the extra two minutes to come up with a slightly more subtle pitch. Though, with the crunchy, hippie rep of Apple users, the touchy-feely gesture control and Brian Eno's app, you'd probably need the weed before the iPad, not after.
