'Back to the Future' and 'Jurassic Park' Getting the Video Game Treatment

Proving that no franchise ever really dies, both 'Back to the Future' and 'Jurassic Park' are set to be reincarnated once again as video games. According to 1UP.com, developer Telltale Games announced Wednesday that it had reached a deal with NBC Universal to create episodic titles of the popular movie franchises. The first 'Future' and 'Park' titles will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PC and Mac this winter -- with more installments to follow. "The games are going to exist within these worlds," Telltale CEO Dan Connors told the AP. "I wouldn't call these games sequels per se but a new interpretation of their worlds for a new medium." Great Scott! We sure hope that means Delorean driving, T. Rex chasing, hoverboard riding and raptor blasting will be part of these games. The first "episodes" of each game are still in early development, but we're hoping for some sort of teaser at E3 next week. Stay tuned. [From: 1UP.com, via: AP/The Daily Caller
