EepyBird Propels 'Rocket Car' With Mentos and 216 Liters of Soda

Mentos and Soda Rocket Car
EepyBird, that wondrous duo that became Internet famous for dumping Mentos into Diet Coke bottles to create elaborate fountains of saccharin sweet foam, are at it again. They're still up to their old Mentos-plus-soda tricks, but with a twist. Rather than simply watch the suds climb through the air, the boys at EepyBird built themselves a fizz-powered rocket car and got 'Fast and Furious' director Rob Cohen to film it all.

The team strapped 108 2-liter bottles of Coke Zero to the back of a tricycle and dropped 648 Mentos into them simultaneously in order to propel a man 221 feet across level ground. Best of all, you can watch the candy-powered rocket car in both high def and 3-D! And if you don't have a pair of 3-D glasses on your desk, EepyBird will teach you to make your own. Enough with words, check out the video below. [From: EepyBird, Via: DVICE and Fox News]
