had no idea "googliser" was a verb. “@LeFigaro_Emploi: Google : «On googlise les candidats, bien sûr» http://t.co/1UV5oF19”

I'm, like, okay with being a little crazy.

The time, energy, words, weight lost, nails bitten, scabs picked and nights I've struggled thru for this are easy to judge from afar, right?

Yeah, I agree. The statement mentioned in the "dictionary" picture should be sarcasm, not irony.

You're right, that's definitely sarcasm not irony.

You'll find back-and-forth about this topic all over the place, and it's not clear cut because language is flexible. For the 'true' definition of irony, I always go back to Bender (Futurama, The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings): "The use of words expressing something other than their literal intention; now that.. is.. irony." Sarcasm, then, is not separate from irony -- it's a form of irony with malicious or 'snarky' intent.
Then there's the 'common' definition of irony -- whether tragic irony, epitomised in Alanis Morissette's song, or "you-deserved-that" irony, as we see here.
Different again is 'hipster irony': wearing an old band shirt and over-sized sun-glasses because you -know- it's in bad taste, but we won't go into that..
