Watching Twitter tonight has taught me one thing, Phillies fans are a bunch of whiny dicks. But it's ok, every tank needs a bottom feeder.
And I thought I wanted to hug Johan last week. I think I'm officially in love.
Listening to Ra, glance at the notes and there's @AliveRecords. Nice cover, Mr. Boissel! @TheGloryFires #magiccityjams http://t.co/uT0M77VJ

Hey, Lee Bains, what in the HE** is your F'N problem? Have you ever even BEEN to France? It happens to be a gorgeous country, and the people that I met while traveling there were courteous, kind, helpful and polite. Paris would be my choice of a city I'd LOVE to live in, IF I could afford the move. But you, YOU'RE AN IDIOT! Do everyone a favor and stay off the web if you're going to write trash like this! MORON!
gelpimMay 14th 2010 4:37PM
I've been to Paris and all over France and most of them do NOT like Americans
You are the MORON So Please move there !
msjjlMay 14th 2010 4:42PM
I agree with you JustinOpinion. I spent six weeks in France last summer, and they're extremely courteous and helpful people. Obviously, those who claim the French are rude have either never been to France, or they took that "we save your froggy asses in WWII" attitude over there with them. And for those of you who agree with this article; PLEASE send a picture of yourself holding an assault rifle or masturbating next to old glory. It's a fair representation of American understanding and cultural respect.
Oh, and xkraften. "your an idiot" is not a logical argument, you genius.
pulsar7117May 14th 2010 7:25PM
Well, if you do like it so much why dont you move there. If you dont like the USA then get the f**k out!!!!

JustinOpinon:
I read the article and I couldn't wrap my brain around it either. Isn't odd that this anti-France rhetoric is rearing it's ugly head. The author suggests that we send the following:
"We'd suggest that picture of you holding an assault rifle, a wallpaper patterned after Old Glory."
We're supposed to do this because America saved their asses in World War II.
I suppose we must now go back to ordering "Freedom Fries"?
You know, a great many people think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging their prejudices.
How is it that these people like the author have such selective memory? How is it that this "author" cannot seem to remember:
"THERE WERE NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION"?
How is it this "author" cannot remember that it was France who said that continually, and from the out set regarding the US entry in to Iraq that there were no weapons of mass destruction?
The people in France built a really, really, really obscenely large Blackberry.
It might be a rather large waste of resources and funds; but those funds are Frances funds to waste. It's not like they are killing people. I don't understand this author's hostility to this really, really large Cellphone. Neither do I understand why this author thinks it appropriate to send photos of ourselves armed with assault rifles. It he suggesting we invade France, now?
It seems that the way people find fault with others. you'd think there was some kind of reward.
We have become a nation hate. We hated the Native Indians peoples of the United states. We now hate the Mexicans, despite the fact that the land now currently called Texas belonged to Mexico. We hate the French. Perhaps that's some odd throw back to the French & Indian Wars or the Louisiana Purchase? It just seems this country isn't happy unless it has someone to hate.
The people over there across the pond built a really, really, really, obscenely large cellphone. Period. Either go see the cellphone for yourself, or send a message over there via France"s FaceBook page; otherwise give it a rest. The French just built a large cellphone. They didn't haven't suggested bringing back the guillotine!
Thank you,
Susie H.

JustinOpinion... you sir are an idiot. good bye.
Matthew ZurasMay 14th 2010 3:07PM
Great to see that you have a sense of humor! Bon week-end!
wassermanemrMay 14th 2010 3:26PM
You sound like a classic tea bagged tea bagger. Let's remember they helped us beat the British in that other war...of independance. How are that Freedom Fries thingy working out for ya dude? You going Roquefort?
IndyMay 14th 2010 3:40PM
Hey, Lee Bains. The French totally saved our butts in the American Revolution. Without them, we might still be an English colony. Stop acting like they owe us.
gelpimMay 14th 2010 5:47PM
No they didn't save our butts but they helped! Our fathers did save theirs though in WWII They do owe us D-a
ScottMay 14th 2010 4:11PM
Anybody stop to think that this is a complete hoax? Look at the pic....it's completely fake.
Matthew ZurasMay 14th 2010 4:24PM
@Scott:
This picture is a rendering of the project straight from the BlackBerry site.
emischneiderMay 14th 2010 4:25PM
Not a hoax, this is the last RIM campain in the smart phone war....
JTheGoblinKingMay 14th 2010 4:27PM
Umm... Considering this so called 'article' begins with racial stereotyping I am no longer going to take articles seriously that I read on AOL News. Thank you for making it clear that cultural offensive stereotyping didn't die in the fifties. By the way, despite bad films, not all French people smoke. If you judged Americans by all the films from the fifties and sixties that were made OUTSIDE of the US we'd all be noir detectives in trench coats.
Thomas HoustonMay 14th 2010 4:43PM
What's wrong with noir detectives and trench coats?
ryanMay 14th 2010 4:53PM
To Gelpin-
I lived in Paris for ten years and most French DO like Americans. Perhaps your experience there was a reflexion of your attitude.
EmilieMay 14th 2010 5:04PM
To Ryan, I could not have said it better!!!
Thomas HoustonMay 14th 2010 5:10PM
There's a giant BlackBerry being displayed in France starting May 20th!
JMMay 14th 2010 5:20PM
The stereotyping was a bad idea I didn't enjoy reading this at all. The blackberry looks fake, like it's hoaxed but if it is real then good for them. And what does the past have to do with this article, who saved who. Why mention that here?
Thomas HoustonMay 14th 2010 5:23PM
@JM, the giant BlackBerry hasn't been unveiled yet and the image above is just a concept rendering, but there's sure to be a flood of pics once it launches next week.
