2010 Webby Winners Announced, Switched Sadly Overlooked

The Webbys are where viral video creators and Web entrepreneurs get to rub elbows with the likes of Al Gore and Isabella Rossellini. The winners of the 2010 Webby Awards, which will be held on June 14th, have already been announced, and we can't say we're surprised by many of the choices.
Roger Ebert will be receiving an award for "raising the bar for online journalism," and the committee has named OK Go as Video Artist of the Year. Vinton Cerf, the so-called father of the Internet and current "Chief Internet Evangelist" at Google, is being honored with a lifetime achievement award.
Other honorees this year include The Muppets' cover of Bohemian Rhapsody, Auto-tune the News, the New York Times, ColbertNation.com, The Onion and a small pile of celebrities, including Jim Carrey, David Lynch and Lisa Kudrow, for their various websites and video series.
You can check out the full list of winners here. And while you won't find Switched among the honorees, don't worry; we're making a concerted effort to find out who we have to bribe and/or sleep with to make sure we're not overlooked next year. [From: WebbyAwards.com, via: Huffington Post]
