Gov. Schwarzenegger Hops on the Foursquare Bandwagon

For quite a while now, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has been a prolific tweeter. But apparently the micro-blogging service wasn't enough for the former action star-turned-politician. According to The Los Angeles Times, Schwarzenegger has jumped on the Foursquare bandwagon. That's right; you can now see what restaurants, bars, parks and pretty much wherever else the Governator goes when he decides to register it on the location-based social network.
Since joining a couple weeks ago, Schwarzenegger has used his account to offer short reviews of different restaurants around the Sacramento area. "For a light lunch, you can never go wrong with the salmon salad," he wrote about Spataro Restaurant & Bar. The governor prefers the halibut and tasty cookies for dessert at Mulvaney's B & L. He also offers some insight on what to see around the capitol, writing, "Make sure to get a picture with the giant bronze grizzly bear in front of my office." In case you're wondering, Schwarzenegger only has one badge -- the Newbie badge, for his first check-in.
Once again, we ask, has Foursquare jumped the shark? If it hasn't by now, then when will it? The site already boasts trashy reality TV stars, and, now, a washed-up action hero. Maybe it will take some nerd using it to propose to his girl. Oh, wait... [From: The Los Angeles Times and Foursquare]
