Apple 'Photo Booth' Mask Brings Face Stretching to Real Life
In an odd, hilariously disturbing case of mimesis, Apple owner Mark Pernice has crafted an impressive display of art imitating life, or perhaps it's art imitating life imitating art imitating life. Hmm. Well, we're not exactly sure what it is, other than awesome.Pernice initially used the Apple Photo Booth application to distort his portrait, and he then created a ludicrous mask depicting the convoluted image. He proceeded to don the mask, and again used his webcam to spawn a freakish, carnival hall-of-mirrors grotesquerie. And, while we thought the Mustache app provided ample opportunities for hilarity and image awkwardness, Pernice may have achieved the pinnacle of Apple photographic ridiculousness.
