Tiniest Pinhole Camera Ever, Gundam Café Opens in Akihabara

There's a load of great tech news happening out there every day, and, unfortunately, we just can't cover it all. Here are a few of the other noteworthy things we saw today on our never-ending journey through the wild, wild Web.
  • Pinhole photography enthusiasts will get a big kick out of this widdle biddy camera, styled like a fish-eye Lomo. Francesco Capponi's cricket-sized gizmo doesn't actually shoot fish-eye photos, but who cares? It works like any other pinhole, and offers equal benefits to potential spies and upskirt fetish pervs. Also, it's a COMICALLY TINY CAMERA. 'Nuff said. [From: MAKE]
  • Readers, we don't ignore your comments. We know that many of you are sick to death of Facebook and wish to banish it from your lives forever. Problem is, Facebook doesn't make it easy to delete your account. Thankfully, The Consumerist put together a simple how-to guide for extricating yourself from the social network. If you're so inclined, you should hop on this quick before Facebook redesigns the site again, and buries the 'delete' option even further. [From: The Consumerist]
  • Craig Mod wrote a fascinating, righteous, and thorough screed against both the iBooks and Kindle apps for the iPad (along with making some excellent points on potential redesign). He takes issue with the needless embellishment of fake pages and animated page turns, as well as the typeface limitations and frequently sloppy layout of the e-books. And have you noticed how the iBooks and Kindle apps don't feature ragged-right text alignment? What's up with that? [From: Craig Mod]
  • For anime nerds who need to occasionally leave the house and interact with real-live humans outside of the cozy confines of Web forums and MMORPGs, the new Gundam Café will be opening this Saturday in Akihabara, Tokyo. The (obviously) Bandai-owned location has a cute, retro-futuristic interior in which you can chew on some mecha biscuits (not kidding) while debating the intricacies of the Gundam universe.
