It's hard to take Jose Canseco seriously these days. If all that steroid drama, or his recent attempt to become a mixed-martial artist, didn't convince you that he's, let's say, unstable, then take a
look at some of his most recent tweets. Nobody knows exactly why, but Canseco unleashed some ultra-explicit rants on the Twitterverse Monday afternoon. Yes, his account is verified, and yes, he's verified insane, too. For fear of offending somebody, we won't reprint the tweets here. But according to Mediaite, the
tweet that started this barrage was, to paraphrase, a statement that he was done fooling around inside the ring. From there, Canseco
declared Bill Maher his hero, bashed countless followers,
advocated eugenics, and then, apologized for all of his vitriolic comments --
claiming it was all a joke.
Unlike other
athletes who've spewed hateful words on Twitter, Canseco doesn't have to fear any real backlash or punishment from a commissioner. He's already been blackballed by Major League Baseball
(MLB). After all, everybody already views him as a laughingstock. How much worse can it get, really? [From:
Mediaite and
