I appreciate @MTVstyle's quiet commitment to not mentioning anything Chris Brown related. Not in an overt way, but #keepinitreal #moralz.
I'm a little sad that you don't own it...rt “@PatrikSandberg: Waiting to Exhale is on Netflix Instant. Uh-oh.”

i hate when they do this...give part of the story but then have to click to read more , and the more clicks they get the higher they can charge advertizers , effing bastids

Actually, we split it up into several pages to decrease your load time. But thanks for reading.

I hate it when some writer starts with a set of wrong assumptions and decrees and then proceeds to build a story that is firmly planted in midair. And yes, multi clicks is multi income. Don't pretend it's for our own good.

@txflyt, please stay on topic.

Looks like a hypocrite wrote this. Like saying Firewalls are bad then you go on to say otherwise. Just admitt it you went to school for comps for no reason and can protect the average computer person from things. Do you really think most people understand your computer language?

Dude, my computer can load Myspace lighting quick, and it is a CPU hog. Making this article one whole page (of mostly text!) would still take only 1 second to display. Don't try to BS us, we aren't stupid. You just get more income like ghmcr said.

Is it possible it could be for both reasons, or maybe they think some people still have dial-up. Or maybe for some reason beyond belief someone out there has not yet upgraded to a super computer yet and still want to surf the web. How dare they! Since the info is FREE and you have a 1 sec display, I'm confused about your complaint. To many sec to read or to many clicks per second to read. LOL. In a financial run society how dare they charge advertisers so they can give it to you for FREE. How dare they!

Uh well I'm not using a super computer.. I'm surfing the net on an OLD Pentium4 2.6C. And it is fast for surfing the net. I have an old Pentium III 500MHz laptop, and I bet you that even it could still load the whole article fine. In fact, I can guarantee it actually takes longer to load multiple pages than it would to just load the whole article once. I don't think anyone is seriously running any computer older than this. If they are, financial difficulty or not, it's past due to upgrade. This IS, after all, 2010, not 1998! I could careless if they give it to me free -- I already knew everything explained in this article and then some. I just wanted to see what kind of "advice" was being offered. Wasn't too into the titles though, stating what you shouldn't do for each topic, e.g. topic 2 should say "Have a software firewall" instead of "Don't hide behind a firewall". I think it may confuse people. And yes, how dare they! Matthew should just say "Yes, it is split into multiple pages to increase revenue flow." If there's one thing I hate, its someone bullshitting me.

Yeah, try being on a disability income. "Financial difficulty or not, it's time to upgrade . . . " that's pretty snotty. I am homebound so I like to surf the net, too, but I don't want to choose between my medications and food and buying a new computer when this one works just fine. Thanks to the author of this article, and poo poo to the posters too LAZY to click one finger on a button.
