Usually, the only ones that can push new technologies to the masses, are the operators. And I seriously doubt that they want to push a technology that they can't monetize the usage from other than on the data traffic used.

I agree, with the no Flash support comment? Apple is C-L-O-S-E-D... S.Jobs needs to understand that it is not his job to try to control the world. Have a problem with Adobe.... jealousy because they own a lot of great web technologies and have been around for a while or acquired those companies that were/are innovative...
