Craig Ferguson Begins Amassing Robot Skeleton Army
Since joining Twitter in February, late night host Craig Ferguson has been referring to his followers as his "robot skeleton army," "cyber bonies" and "Skellyborgs." The joke has taken on a life of its own as the 'MythBusters' robotic genius Grant Imahara has built, and on tonight's episode will deliver, Ferguson's very own robot skeleton sidekick. The bot, which the Scottish host has already named Geoff Peterson (for reasons unknown), is comprised of plastic "bones" fitted over a metal frame, and boasts glowing LEDs for eyes. It's even pre-programmed to utter seven phrases and make their accompanying body movements. Imahara built the first soldier in Ferguson's robo-army in exchange for the host's help in pushing his number of Twitter followers over the 100,000 mark.
We wonder what we'd have to do to get the 'MythBusters' team to build us a robot. We'd certainly put him to good use in dealing with pushy PR reps and cantankerous commenters. [From: Fox News]
