Adorable Samurai Serves Food, Hopefully Won't Go Ronin on You

Readers, this is your 'WTF' for the morning. The terrifically named Lapassarad Thanaphant, owner of Japanese restaurant Hajime in Thailand, decided that plain old human waiters were passé, and has thus chosen to employ a small battalion of samurai robots to serve her customers. At a cost of close to a million dollars (30 million baht), the four Japanese robots deliver food (ordered via touch-screen) with little emotion, yes, but with a lot of android flair.

Check out the video after the break to see the samurai waiters do their bizarre 'Wall-E'-esque dances between orders. Sure, those googly eyes make them look harmless enough, but just wait until you forget to tip. Bionic banzai! There goes your left arm, beneath the blade of the of the cutest katana ever.
