'Infinite USB' Solves Overloaded Ports by Stacking Cables

For geeks like us, too many gadgets and not enough USB ports is a daily problem. You could just buy one of those USB hubs to remedy this problem, or you could try a brand new approach. Designer Gonglue's innovative product, dubbed 'Infinite USB,' cuts out the middleman (in this case the USB hub) by allowing you to stack USB cables on top of each other when you run out of ports. Wired describes the cables as having both male and female parts, so that you could chain together as many devices as you like, creating a veritable gadget orgy on your desk.

It's definitely an interesting design concept, but connecting all those devices without an additional power source will be a major drain on your computer's battery. That being the case, you'll probably want to keep your computer plugged into a power source, or have a spare battery on hand. But, then again, if your chain of cables is that long, your time might be better spent doing some Spring cleaning with your gadget collection. [From: Wired]
