Monstrous LEGO BlackBerry Features Functional Flat-Screen
LEGO has inspired the young-at-heart to construct inspiring, goofy, and complex creations for over 60 years, so new and unique designs may seem impossible at this point. While both LEGO TVs and LEGO phones have become quite commonplace, building block artist Nathan Sawaya has actually integrated the two into one incredibly impressive LEGO BlackBerry. The plastic crackberry, which is based on the Tour 9360, stands five-feet tall and was appropriately constructed for the BlackBerry Developer Conference. The impressive feat of LEGO engineering required the use of thousands of blocks, and, although the phone can't send or receive messages, the LCD flat-screen TV embedded in its center is fully operational. Now, how progressive are the LEGO regulations and codes? Will standard moving tools be allowed, or will Sawaya be forced to construct an equally massive plastic hand truck to tote the thing around the conference? [From: Technabob]
