Chatroulette Piano Improv, Congressional Craziness at C-SPAN Archives

There's a load of great tech news happening out there every day, and, unfortunately, we just can't cover it all. Here are a few of the other noteworthy things we saw today on our never-ending journey through the wild, wild Web.
  • We promised ourselves we wouldn't mention Chatroulette today, but this dude improvising on the piano has got the Internet all hot and bothered. Our editors loved it, although your writer is torn. Funny, or kind of weird/disconcerting? Ah, the essence of Chatroulette, itself. [From: Geekosystem]
  • The Periodic Table of Sci-Fi Film and Television combines science, infographics, and the word "Camerokubriclarkine" in order to classify a family of sci-fi 'elements' by some rather heavy-weight directors. Needless to say, we enjoy. [From: Buzzfeed]
  • Ack! Memes watching mimics of themselves! The latest ironic YouTube fad, the Trololo guy, lauds amateur singers as they belt out their own versions of his tongue-twisting tune. Can you say 'simulacra party'? Where's Baudrillard? This recursiveness makes us dizzy. [From: Boing Boing]
  • C-SPAN is hardly the most exciting programming on television (except for an amazingly insane diatribe, here and there), but that's only because the work of politics can be frequently uninteresting. For researchers and dedicated YouTubers, though, C-SPAN has just provided you an immense gift: 23 years of Congressional video archives, now available online.
