The killer feature of the iPad is the extremely low price for such a large multi-touch screen - It makes it tempting enough to have lying around the house even if you own a desktop or laptop computer.

With two screens, a hinge, stylus and camera etc, I think MS would struggle reaching the same price points on the Courier.

One of the biggest issues of course is that unlike with Windows, MS is the one with no apps having to start from scratch all over.

At least they're thinking creatively though. :-)

I mean come on, MS steals Apple's templates from the shipping version of iWork to demo a non-existant product when iWork is something the iPad, that will actually have running on it, and yet the ipad is supposed to envy it? The size looks good: Meaningful productivity shouldn't be a problem, depending on the apps that will be available.

I wonder how they will stop the two screens from scratching one another, and how they will make the hinge sufficiently robust to stand up to the rigors of day to day use?
