Giant LEGO City on Wheels, Best Gadgets of the Year

There's a load of great tech news happening out there every day, and, unfortunately, we just can't cover it all. Here are a few of the other noteworthy things we saw today on our never-ending journey through the wild, wild Web.
- We've spent more time than we'd like to admit browsing archives of LEGO creations on the Web in an attempt to relive some of our block-filled youth. Said with whatever authority that entails, 'Crawler Town,' an enormous LEGO city-on-wheels, is one of the coolest creations we (and our 8-year-old selves) have ever seen. [From: Crawler Town]
- Forget the Oscars, Engadget just released its annual Engadget Awards this afternoon! Motorola's Droid took top spot from both editors and readers as the gadget of the year, while the iPod shuffle 3G and Nuvifone G60 rounded out the bottom end as the worst new gadgets. [From: Engadget]
- Illustrator Edward Gorey is best known for his grim pen and ink illustrations, and it turns out he was a Trekkie. The Internet (in the form of Shaenon K. Garrity) pitched in and imagined 'Star Trek' in Gorey's iconic macabre style. [From: Neatorama]
- Saving you the effort of actually having to turn your webcam on and load up Chatroulette, tumblr blog Chatroulolz collects hilarious, sublime, and creepy Chatroulette chats. [From: Chatroulolz]
