Riiflex Wiimote Dumbbells Join Ranks of Wacky Nintendo Accessories

Nintendo boasts a long and storied history in terms of ridiculous gaming peripherals, and the company has definitely maintained that reputation for absurd accessories with the Wii. The latest offering of crazy Nintendo creations is the Riiflex sleeve, a dumbbell-shaped covering that fits snugly over the Wii remote.

The weighted sleeve acts as a barbell add-on and is currently available in a 2-pound size, although the manufacturers are supposedly developing a 5-pound version, as well. A set of two costs $29.99, but the price may be worth it if you can actually get jacked up while gesticulating wildly during intense gaming sessions. If the Riiflex does nothing more than reawaken your forgotten fascination with goofy video game gadgets, then just take a walk down memory lane with these worst accessories of all gaming time.
