I check my fiance's phone, but mainly it's to see his calendar. Plus his friends send him jokes and I like the jokes so I check them sometimes for a good laugh. Sure, I'm a bit nosy but if I see a text that concerns me I talk to him about it civilly.
Let's not go blaming her, maybe he told her to check is phone and she came across it, I mean, on my fiance and I's phone, under the name of the sender is the beginning of the text in the mail box. For all we know she may have been checking his sent messages for something he sent her and that she had deleted by accident, I've done that before. She could have been programming his phone for all we know.
Hopefully, they can work it out and if not, I wish him and her find someone who makes them happy and for the workers who programmed that stuff into the phone to get reprimanded.
