Switched.com Is Looking For Paid Interns! Come Hang With Geeks...

New York-based readers: We at Switched are looking for a part-to-full time intern (about 20 hours) to assist with the daily maintenance of the site and to contribute to the content. Responsibilities will include: contacting PR companies and creating press databases, requesting and returning products, fact-checking, moderating comments and Web interactions, updating Twitter and Facebook, assisting the managing editor and the editor-in-chief, and attending events around New York City.

The perfect candidate would have an interest in technology and the way it affects the lives of the modern individual, have a working knowledge of Photoshop and average CMS system like Blogger or WordPress, and be available about 20 hours a week. Editorial experience is a plus, and students are welcome to apply if time permits.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get valid editorial and production experience and receive bylines on a popular blog that covers emerging and establish trends in design, technology, social networking and gadgets.
