Steve Jobs Takes Shots at Google, Adobe, Blu-ray, Kittens

As per usual, Jobs didn't mince words when speaking about his fellow technology companies, saying, "We see no signs of the competition catching up any time soon," in reference to the Nexus One. He also made sure to refer to Google's "do no evil" mantra as "bullshit." Adobe's feelings weren't spared, either. Jobs called the company "lazy," complained that Flash was "buggy," and blamed the vast majority of Mac crashes on the plug-in. And, just for good measure, he called Blu-ray "a mess."
The town hall didn't just serve as an exercise for Jobs's paranoia and pointing finger; he also engaged in some chest-thumping and back-patting. According to sources at MacRumors, he called the iPad one of the most important products Apple had ever announced, and teased that the next version of the iPhone would leave competitors in its dust. He added that the new Mac lineup would "take Apple to the next level."
We'll have to wait a while to see if any of the braggadocio is deserved, but we're sure we'll have a shorter wait in learning what Google and Adobe have to say about Jobs's alleged remarks. [From: Wired and MacRumors, via: Engadget]
