Bill Gates Dances at Sundance

At some point security ushered Gates out the backdoor, but not before he performed one last philanthropic act for the evening -- tipping his waitress $500. [From: New York Post]

Watching Twitter tonight has taught me one thing, Phillies fans are a bunch of whiny dicks. But it's ok, every tank needs a bottom feeder.
And I thought I wanted to hug Johan last week. I think I'm officially in love.
Listening to Ra, glance at the notes and there's @AliveRecords. Nice cover, Mr. Boissel! @TheGloryFires #magiccityjams http://t.co/uT0M77VJ

He, Bill Gates, can afford to do this, those of us who are barely getting by can not.

Bill Gates is a very generous person all the time. He hasn't forgotten where he came from like another person has.........

Right, he cam from stealing from Steve Jobs. Unfortunately Jobs was up flying his plane enjoying life when IBM came to call for an operating system or the world of computers would be VERY different today. Think of all the time you have spent trouble shooting Microsoft products. Well it kept me employed when I was a kid.

ANYONE who thinks Gates is generous is computer illiterate or a micro clone.Ever notice how they no longer give an operating disk any more? He wants you to PAY to put each copy of win on each of your computers. And each patch checks to make sure you windows OS is paid for. and thats just the beginning.

Hey Dan,
If you don't like Bill Gates' business model, then you can always use a (gulp) Mac.
And last time I checked, you can buy one disc to install the program, OS, etc on up to 3 computers.
In addition, have you not heard of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation? No? Didn't think so.

Dan, surely your post is a joke? If not, then YOU are a joke. I don't work for free, and neither does anyone else (and I'd bet that includes you). Just because you are a lowlife thief, doesn't mean everyone else is. And to top it off, The Gates' Foundation gives away more money to charities in one second than you will steal throughout your entire life.

If u use HOTMAIL from Windows Live, MICROSOFT gives away some % ( from advertisers ) 2 the CHARITY u choose out of 10, every time u send an e-mail or IM. I do and i'm happy with it. Bill and Melinda are "good-heart" people ! God Bless their family.

Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation contributed 1.5 billion ( the highest amount dolled out by the foundation) in 2008 to the United Negro College Fund and conservative estimates conclude that if 10% of the recipients go on to purchase Microsoft products for they're home and business that the return would be three to four times the donation. God bless em.

Your right I do not know what gates donates. I would be interested to see if its more than one % of his net value. Until I did switched to Apple I spent way to much time repairing me and my 4 kids IBM clones from the latest "update" which suspected that my windows was not authentic ,even though I paid dearly for EVERY copy, to have time to see what of my cash was being donated. I havent had a single problem since switching to the company whom Gates stole all of his product from to begin with. You guys keep on doing a system "Restore" every update. those days are over for me.
