There's a load of great tech news happening out there every day, and, unfortunately, we just can't cover it all. Here are a few of the other noteworthy things we saw today on our never-ending journey through the wild, wild Web.
- Touchscreen typing on most Android devices isn't quite on the level of the iPhone or even a traditional BlackBerry-esque keyboard. Swype, a typing system that uses swiping from letter to letter, is now available in beta for the Droid and Nexus One. [From: Download Squad]
- As digital camera storage is effectively infinite these days, we often long long for the brevity of the photo albums from the analog era. Lifehacker shows a better way to curate photos for friends and family; trust us, nobody wants to flip through a thousand shots from your weekend. [From: Lifehacker]
- Webcomic xkcd is back with a meditation on the wonders of the unassuming microSD card. [From: xkcd]
