To some, "Clapton is God." To others, he's mere mortal. To all, he's now a T-Mobile spokesman. According to
Engadget, Eric Clapton will soon be coming to living rooms all across America to promote T-Mobile's Fender Limited Edition myTouch 3G phone. The device, slated to launch on January 20th, features a faux wood design and a few extras clearly aimed at the classic rock fan. In addition to the 16GB memory card and the 3.5 mm headphone jack, the specially-issued gadget will also come equipped with several apps for guitar gurus, including a doubleTwist music-syncing application. Fender will also launch its own gift bag of guitar goodies for the phone, running Android 1.6 until the anticipated 2.1 update drops later this year.
The Clapton name may not carry the same cultural weight with young pups that it once did, but for the music fanatic demographic that the product is targeting, he couldn't be a better spokesman. The campaign may even attract more old-timers to the phone; after all, if someone who's ruthlessly
waged war on their brain cells for the better part of 40 years can still find their way around T-Mobile's handset, that's about as user friendly as it gets. [From:

Is that the black hole radiation guy? Eric Clapton Hawking? I bet he'd sing some weird autotuned jams about the universe.

Wow. I'm surprised Clapton has anything left to sell out. And really, shouldn't he be, um, doing PSAs for window child-safety bars rather than chasing nickels from Boomer nostalgics? The least he could do is shave that bumstubble before he shows up for work; must think he looks wonderful tonight.

Now children... just listen to what each of you has to say. Ask yourself "what is war, and what causes war?". It could be that most of todays' youngsters have the go to hell attitude, cuz their mommy and daddy will do anything to make them shut up.
IF you were even a little bit smart, you'd be in Church, or at least receiving some Bible-related emails daily to learn what it's all about. You would then learn that it's SO much easier to be at peace... not only with yourself, but with everyone.
