Google Officially Debuts Nexus One Android Phone

Google announced the phone officially today in California. The presentation traced the history of Android and included detailed information about the size of the Nexus One ("No thicker than a number 2 pencil, no heavier than a Swiss army knife."), its features (GPS, accelerometer, light, and proximity sensor), and its hardware (1 GHz Snapdragon). The Nexus crew also provided insight into some upgrades from the early G1 models, including "better news and weather widgets" and heightened voice capabilities.
The Nexus One is available unlocked for $529.00, on T-Mobile for $179.00, and will be coming to Verizon this spring. For full coverage of the "superphone" event, head on over to Engadget. For specs and ordering information, Google's got you covered. [From: Engadget]

I live in Canada! How soon will this phone be available here? I dislike my Motorola Razr, it's so slow it can't keep up to me! I was going to get an apple I-phone, however I may be enticed to wait fort his one... I'm not sure how patient I can be though!
Sincerely,
