Highlights from this morning's other big tech headlines...

- AT&T receives almost constant criticism in New York City because of spotty service and dropped calls, but the company hasn't done anything to warrant a $53 million lawsuit. - Twitter provides fans of Hollywood stars unprecedented access to their icons, and it also allows the celebrities to interact with their admirers. Not many of the Twitter icons capitalize on that opportunity quite like comedian Michael Ian Black, who will actually roast his followers for a mere $5 charitable donation. [From: Mashable]
- The White House is promoting increased wireless Internet access in the United States, as it believes there is a lack of competition in the broadband Internet marketplace. Now, the government just needs to work on making that access free. [From: Washington Post]

- China adheres to incredibly strict Internet censorship practices, and in the nation's latest crackdown, authorities have arrested over 5,000 people in an anti-pornography operation. The country, which restricts access to seemingly innocent sites like Twitter and Facebook, has not released any data on how many people were actually charged, or what actually constitutes pornography. - The Nexus One Google phone officially made its debut today. Engagdet has an early review, and everything, particularly the aesthetics and the appearance, sounds very promising. [From: Engadget]
- Since the Holidays have passed, it might seem somewhat boring and melodramatic to watch someone open even more presents.
