CES Unveiled: A First Look at the Tech of 2010 6

Popbox by Syabas

Heading into this year's CES, we all speculated that we'd see a lot of variations on 3-D TV and streaming TV. In the Popbox, Syabas has brought the latter to our attention in full force. The Swiss Army knife of streamers, the Popbox can pull HD video, CD-quality audio, and even your buddy's Twitter feed from off the Internet and into your living room -- courtesy of an Ethernet 10/100, Wi-Fi 802.11N/B/G, or UPnP connection. We'll be waiting impatiently until Popbox debuts in March for $129. And come September, Netflix will be added to its list of providers, thus giving us one more reason to never leave our caves of solitude.

Underwater Digital Camera Mask Scuba Series Wide Angle by Liquid Image

Listen, we admittedly don't spend much of our time underwater. But when the ice caps melt, or the aliens invade, or whatever, we won't have much choice in the matter. Fortunately, with Liquid Image's Scuba Series Wide Angle Camera Mask, life can go on. This sinister looking headgear comes with an image sensor, a 5-megapixel still camera, and video that shoots up to 30 high-def frames per second at 720P -- under the sea. The "wide angle" in the name indicates that you'll be able to capture a full 135-degrees of watery vision. On top of that (or on the side, rather), you can add two parallel torches, each projecting 4.7 watts of high-powered LED light, and will undoubtedly ensure that Junior's championship aqua-ball game is well lit.
