CES Unveiled: A First Look at the Tech of 2010 4

CooKey and WhizKey USB Sticks by La Cie
La Cie has given us some design-y products in the past, most notably the gorgeous hard drives crafted by the nonpareil Philippe Starck. This year, La Cie didn't let us down. We were floored by the simple, elegant CooKey and WhizKey USB sticks (ranging from 4 to 32 gigabytes in capacity), which are scratch-resistant and require no housing to keep them safe. Even better, the keys (designed by French firm 5.5) plug seamlessly into the new, sleekly minimal, glossy black Network Space 2 external drives. We want.

HDTVs by Hannspree
Electronics outfit Hannspree, makers of design-centric TVs and other gadgetry, has collaborated with companies like Marvel and Disney in the past to create unique televisions with a whimsical edge. This year, Hannspree is unveiling a few new wacky HD televisions, including the Apple (in 28-inch and 55-inch) model and the 28-inch Animal series of LCDs. The standout product for the evening, however, was the polar bear HDTV. Yes, it's an HDTV surrounded by snuggly plush white fur and an adorable ursine head. These are not just for kids, either; we grownups want one of these stuffed tech-toys in every room.
