My grandson was robbed of his musical equipment. Only to be in orchestra at school at a special practice and find some kid with his guitar (still had his sticker on it). Kid said he bought it at a yard sale. Police have yet to follow-through. Not sure what hoops will have to be jumped through on this one.

LillieFaerie

Comments on Man Discovers His Stolen Appliances on eBay

Long live E-Bay!

Eileen

Comments on Man Discovers His Stolen Appliances on eBay

eBay sucks! eBay itself is run by crooks

shanedieselblack

Comments on Man Discovers His Stolen Appliances on eBay

here it is,,,AND FINALLY,someone had the balls to say the truth about ebay..

i have been ripped off for over 100k,from sellers saying, its a signed painting,,or its a rust free car,,also when i sold a car to a guy in iowa,,someone with iowa tags came 6 months later,,and while i went out for bread,,stole my beloved pet springer spaniel as i retired her from breeding,,DO NOT BELIEVE THAT EBAY DOES NOT PROLIFICATE THEIVES,,IT DOES!!!!!!!,,of every king,,you will find 90% of the sellers are sweet people,,but it only takes one,,TO TAKE YOU!!!!!!

deboss

Comments on Man Discovers His Stolen Appliances on eBay

you lost 100k over time on e bay? jeeez im selling the brooklyn bridge for half that if your interested

Robert

Comments on Man Discovers His Stolen Appliances on eBay

As Ron White says in his comedy routine: "You can't fix stupid."

chililuver

Comments on Man Discovers His Stolen Appliances on eBay

E-bay ripped me off a few years ago as well. I sold a year-old Tri-Star vacuum cleaner to some crooked woman who said it was for her mother. It was like brand new, wasn't used much because I hated it. I had it serviced, all new filters, tuned up, clean and spotless. I had it carefully packed at the UPS store and they shipped it. The woman paid me, then when she got the machine a few days later, she claimed it was all scratched up (total lie, the paint was spotless) the hose was very worn (again, another lie, as I had only used the thing about 8 times; it sat in a closet, unused) and that her mother was very picky and she wanted her money back. I said "Fine, return the merchandise, I'll refund the cost". When I never got the machine back, I didn't return her money. So then the bitch runs to E-bay and tells them that I ripped her off, they refunded her the money, AND she KEPT THE MACHINE, TOO!!! E-bay then billed me, which I refused to pay, telling them I wanted the vacuum cleaner back in exchange for the refund. Never happened, she got the machine for free, the lying thief, and E-bay helped her do it. They suspended my account, and I had sold a lot of things on E-bay and never had a problem before this. They're ALL CROOKS. E-bay can go straight to HELL.

Jim

Comments on Man Discovers His Stolen Appliances on eBay

E-bay, along with a buyer, ripped me off, too. I sold a 6-month-old Tri-Star vacuum cleaner to this crook; I had only used it about 8 times, and I hated it, so I sold it for a fraction of what I paid for it. I had UPS pack it and ship it as I watched; it was well-packed. When she got it, she claimed it was damaged and beat up, which was a total lie, and she demamded her money back. I said, "Fine, return it and I will refund it. Well, she didn't want to return it and never did, so I never refunded the money. She ran to E-bay, who took her at her word and never asked me my side of the story, and they refunded her money, then billed me for it. I refused to pay, so they suspended my seller's account. AND, the lying thief kept the vacuum cleaner, too. THAT'S how e-bay does business. They're ALL CROOKS.

Jim

Comments on Man Discovers His Stolen Appliances on eBay

Why does AOL keep running the same tired ass stories over and over

osdcr

Comments on Man Discovers His Stolen Appliances on eBay

I understand ebay the company is ripping people off, but its both sellers and buyers that are getting hurt. As a seller for ten years on ebay, I have been ripped off numerous times and yes just like you Jim, I do not give a refund until I have the merchandise back in my own hands, Most people are just trying to get something free so you never hear from them again. As a buyer I have also been ripped off, I won't even go into the crap that people sell. Its ebay the company itself that allows this trashy behavoir to run rampant, because they don't care as long as they get paid. I work my tush off, treat ebay like its a real job because I want a real paycheck from it. And as Deboss stated yes, 90% of us are sweet people working hard and trying to pay our bills, Watch out for the over ten percent thou, because they are wolves.

Samantha

Comments on Man Discovers His Stolen Appliances on eBay

E Bay absolutely helps crooks!!!! I had a guy working for me (didn't know he was stealing until my store was missing 18 $90.00 each items, guess what showed up on E-bay yep all 18 for less than the cost I had paid for them. When we notified E-Bay they did nothing. I'll share this auction on ebay I just got a kick out of, this guy is selling a bottle of hand sanitizer with the quote "Wealth is not his that has it, but his that enjoys it" by Ben Franklin as the title, fair enough but its listed for $1,000,000.00 & the guy wrote on the inside label "I bought this on eBay for $1,000,000.00 because I'm wealthy!" lol

http://cgi.ebay.com/Wealth-is-not-his-that-has-...

outsidetheboxpublicrelations
