Xbox 360 Thief Busted by Kid Victim After Playing Online

It's a good thing we don't get tired of hearing about dumb criminals, because the stories keep on coming. In the latest, a 22-year-old Bronx man was completely owned by an Xbox 360 (with a little help from its former owner, too).

According to the New York Post
, an unnamed kid whose console had been recently stolen noticed his Xbox Live ID become active while he was playing an online game on another console. The kid's parents told police, who traced the IP address to the residence of Jeremiah Gilliam. Not only did police find the Xbox 360, but they also found a truckload of other stolen consoles, video games, laptops, credit cards, and GPS devices -- from more than 200 break-ins -- all stashed in the house.

Gilliam was arrested over the weekend and charged with grand larceny -- the start of justice being served. We think the victimized kid should've taken it a bit further, though, and delivered a little vigilante justice first by taunting and whipping the criminal in an online game. Nothing like adding a little insult to injury, especially when it's done with a head shot in "Halo 3." [From: New York Post, via: TG Daily]
