I'm sorry but I hate facebook I wish they got rid off it. Ever since I have used FACEBOOK it gave me MORE PROBLEMS on my PC.
Through Facebook my PC got attack by a nasty virus - thanks FACEBOOK.
Then secondly I had call the police because someone from FACEBOOK was using my indentity (Indentity fraud) to withdraw money from my bank.
You know I really don't care what people say that FACEBOOK is great - to me FACEBOOK is a NIGHTMARE - I hate FACEBOOK! FACEBOOK lucky I didn't sue them.

It was not facebook that gave the virus. It was external links you clicked on that gave you a virus. You can't sue facebook for much of anything. Have you read the TOS? The victims families of the facebook killer can't even sue facebook.

instead of blaming facebook maybe you should consider using a firewall! DUH!!! (or maybe just stay away from porn sites) facebook is not the problem you are probably just computer illiterate. also maybe you shouldnt be putting any bank info on your facebook. dont be stupid with you identity and it wont be stolen.

One thing you got to keep in mind the virus and identity theft does not just happen through facebook. It happens through myspace, through myyearbook through any social networking site. That is no reason to hate facebook just because you posted enough of your info to get someone to steal it.
Also all websites get infested with viruses and such, hell even emails do. All you can do is have a good virus protector and hope for the best. You take chances of getting a virus anytime you go to a website. If you want to avoid that stuff, don't get online. Period.

To this Bob who thinks he got viruses from Facebook do you know anything about computers? First of all, what are you doing on it which would have gave you a "virus" in the first place? Second you don't pay to use Facebook so if the virus came from that site it wouldn't be able to access anything that came from a site it didn't span off of. So next time Bob, ask someone that actually knows how to use a computer before you post something stupid again.
