One-word Tweeting, NPR App Hits Android

There's a load of great tech news happening out there every day, and, unfortunately, we just can't cover it all. Here are a few of the other noteworthy things we saw today on our never-ending journey through the wild, wild Web.
  • Monoblogging: Yes, someone's made a one-word Twitter. [From: Textually]
  • NPR's excellent news app (formerly iPhone only) is now available on Android devices. It's a must-download for public radio fans. [From: Mashable]
  • Darth Vader rang the bell at the New York Stock Exchange on December 22nd. [From: AP on YouTube]
  • Bookforum takes a look at the sounds of war with a review of Steve Goodman's "Sonic Warfare," which considers the "acoustics of a mushroom cloud." [From: Bookforum]
