Osim's uCrown 2 Massages Your Head, Looks Ridiculous

When deciding to use a gadget, we must first determine if the benefits outweigh how lame we'll look using it. It's not always an easy decision, but there are some no-brainers, especially when the item in question looks like geriatric football gear. Take for example, Osim's new head-massaging helmet -- dubbed the uCrown 2. This bad boy not only rubs your noggin, but its built-in speakers also funnel music into your ears. According to DVICE, the helmet combines air pressure technology, vibration massage, magnetic therapy, and gentle heat -- all to put you in that perfect state of bliss.

But there's a problem. The uCrown 2 looks like a prop from a bad science-fiction movie. We shouldn't be surprised; this device is just the latest in a long line of silly gadgets that people put on their heads. Not to mention, the uCrown 2 costs $200, which is ridiculous (even if it does come with a remote control). We think we'll pass. We do a pretty good job at being dorks without expensive headwear.
