'Let's Enhance' Computer Zoom Mashup, Worst Web Security Failures of 2009

There's a load of great tech news happening out there every day, and, unfortunately, we just can't cover it all. Here are a few of the other noteworthy things we saw today on our never-ending journey through the wild, wild Web.
  • We started seeing montages pop up in the late aughts comprised of obsessive collections of phrases, actions, words from films or TV shows. The latest making the rounds captures people enhancing things on computer screens. It's mesmerizing. [Kottke]

  • Computerworld rounds up 2009's biggest data breaches, including the Transportation Security Administration accidentally posting its screening procedures on the Web and Health Net's loss of a hard drive containing unencrypted data of about 1.5 million customers. [From: ComputerWorld]
