A Final Nail in Masculinity's Coffin: Square Enix Launching 'Final Fantasy' Perfume

When we think about game-licensed merchandise, perfumes aren't the first (or even second) thing that spring to mind. But leave it to the folks over at Square Enix to think well outside the box. The romantically-inclined 'Final Fantasy XIII' developers plan on releasing a 50 ml bottle inspired by game heroine Lightning in January, a month after the inevitable blockbuster hits store shelves in Japan. Lightning Eau de Toilette is said to have notes of peach, rose, aqua green leaf, and uh, "feminine musk" -- whatever that is -- and will retail for a suggested 7,140 yen ($83).
