Musician Follows Google Street View in Search of Fame

Heagy told the CBC in an interview, "When Google announced that Street View was coming to Saskatoon, a light bulb went on... I figured Saskatoon's not that big, I could probably find the Google car if I really wanted to." So Heagy drove around with sign in the back off his car waiting for the day he encountered the Google mobile.
When he finally did spot the 360-degree-camera-toting car snaking its way through the streets of Saskatoon, he rushed ahead of it, broke out his guitar, and set up his sign for Fear Salesman. As the cameras snapped away, gliding down Lansdowne Ave., they caught Heagy. Crazily enough, his half-baked plot to draw attention to his musical act worked. Soon he was being interviewed by the CBC, being covered by Gizmodo and Neatorama, and ultimately making it big enough to land himself on the front page of Switched. You're welcome, Nate.
