Facebook CEO's Privacy Screwup Confirms He's a Nerdy Romantic

Working at a site that covers social networking, let's be honest: Mark Zuckerberg is a great target. The red-headed, aww-shucks demeanor of the young Facebook CEO, partnered with his scatterbrained (and often disastrous) Facebook face-lifts make him easy fodder -- and a Justin Timberlake-starring movie about his life just adds icing to the cake. After the debacle of the last major privacy change, Gawker pointed out that the once-private Harvard graduate now has over 290 photos of himself floating around. Perhaps he's decided to shed his reclusive image, or is finally cashing in on some of that Facebook fame (if it exists). Either that, or he's overlooked his default settings. (Note: Since this story broke, it appears to be the latter -- as Zuckerberg has made most pictures invisible again.)

Gawker's commentary is hilarious, pointing out the romantic nature of Zuckerberg (and his penchant for posting photos of girlfriend Priscilla Chan. Our choice images of the Zuck (besides the ones of him obviously wasted): an awkward, cerulean-vested and yarmulke donning Mark at his sister's wedding, an ecstatic young Zuckerberg strumming an acoustic guitar in an appropriately Harvard high-backed chair, and MZ and his GF getting romantic at a harbor somewhere. Not to mention the above lightsaber fight. Ah, geek love.

Bottom line: Mark Zuckerberg is just like any other graduate kid who accidentally stumbled upon a zeitgeist and changed the Internet forever. Yet, it's guiltily gratifying when the CEO of Facebook doesn't appear to understand his own privacy settings, giving us hungry media hound dogs more fodder than ever. [From: Gawker]
