Toaster Printer Brings the Office to Your Breakfast

It may not brighten your morning up in the same way that a beaming Hello Kitty can, but a new toaster unveiled at the Berger Design Awards expo can at least help you ease into Office Mode while sipping OJ and perusing Switched in your bathrobe. Othmar Mühlebach's 'Print Your Toast,' which took home second prize at the awards expo, is a toaster in printer's clothing. All you have to do is stack your bread in the tray, and while you're rubbing the sleep out of your eyes and letting the dog out, it'll "print" your toast into slices. Clearly made for those who have outgrown their Darth Vader days, and want to project a more utilitarian, businesslike approach to breakfast. Or for those who are looking for something to tide them over until the inevitable release of 'Fax Your Toast.' [From: Playpen, via Core77]

Nah. It'll never fly. Now, if you really want to promote a utilitarian approach to everyday activities, how about the Pottie Printer? But, now get this, it's a REAL printer! You can do business while you are doing your "business"? What better place to put a printer than where you do most of your thinking? It's got it all... privacy, functionality, effective time management opportunities, and if you're feeling a bit irregular, you can really knock out some of your business load! Oops. Sorry, poor choice of words. But you get my meaning. Hmmm. The Pottie Printer. Patent Office, here I come!
