Orangutan Snaps Photos, Posts Them On Facebook
Nonja, an orangutan at the Vienna Zoo, now has her own Facebook page dedicated to the photos she takes herself with a digital camera. Armed with a Samsung ST 1000, all the 33-year-old Nonja has to do is click and whatever her eye sees is automatically uploaded to her Facebook page. Even though she's nearing senior zoo citizenship, her fan base continues to grow by the day; she's already hit the 20,000 fan milestone, and the page only launched on Tuesday.
As the UK's Daily Mail tragically reveals, Nonja, like far too many artists, may be motivated not by artistic vision, but by material gain. Apparently, whenever the ape takes a photo, the camera dispenses a raisin as her reward. It's really not that surprising, though; we've been using the exact same raisin-ized system of incentives for our Switched bloggers. And look how well that's worked out. This so sweet,and I thought my daughter was crazy when she gave my 2 year old great granddaughter a cell phone.I hope this has Limited minutes.LOL

Facebook is for people, (and orangutans) with too much time on their hands. Also part of the reason that a lot of twenty somethings these days have no social skills.
