Send a Free Snail Mail Card, Courtesy of the All-Mighty Google

Even though Google is supplying airports with free Wi-Fi, the Big G has one more trick up its all-encompassing sleeve. Despite being the e-mail program of plenty of Americans, Gmail acknowledges that, while an e-card is easy, nothing is more charming than a snail-mail greeting. So, if you and a beloved other share a love for that simple red Gmail "M", head on over and create a free card to be sent using the ole USPS.

Though each account only gets one card (hey, Google pays for postage) and most cards have hidden "G" symbols throughout, it's still a nice gesture, and an easy way to get a card off to your less savvy relatives who might think red-and-white are appropriate holiday colors. In the meantime, us Switched staffers are sending post to each other, because 1) we rarely get anything in the mail and b) if something is gonna be branded, we'd prefer it to be Google.
